About the Rooms
2-Bed Rooms (AC & Non-AC)
The 2-bed rooms at Sri Janaki Mahal Trust are designed for couples and small families. Each room is clean, well-ventilated, and kept to a comfortable standard for pilgrims who want a quiet, private space to rest after darshan. The non-AC version is ideal for cooler months (October through February), when natural ventilation through the windows is pleasant. The AC version is recommended for summer visits (March through September), keeping the room at a comfortable temperature throughout the day and night.
All 2-bed rooms include breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the tariff. There are no separate meal charges. The rooms are suited for stays of 1 to 7 nights and can be booked directly via call or WhatsApp.
3-Bed Rooms — Family & Triple Sharing
The 3-bed rooms are the most popular choice for small families with children or for three friends travelling together for a pilgrimage. These rooms offer slightly more floor space than 2-bed rooms and allow a family to stay together without booking two separate rooms, which keeps costs predictable. Both AC and non-AC options are available in the 3-bed category.
Families travelling with senior citizens often prefer the 3-bed AC room for its added comfort. If you are travelling with an elderly parent or a guest with mobility requirements, mention this during booking and the team will guide you to the most suitable room on an accessible floor.
4-Bed Rooms — Groups & Yatri Mandals
The 4-bed rooms are built for yatri groups and pilgrimage parties where four guests share one room. This is the most cost-effective option for groups coming from outstation — a single room covers four guests with all three meals included, making budgeting for the trip simple and transparent. These rooms have adequate space for luggage, seating, and personal belongings without feeling cramped.
For groups needing more than one 4-bed room, Sri Janaki Mahal Trust can block adjacent or nearby rooms together. Call the official desk with your group size and dates so the team can plan the best allocation.
Deluxe Room & Family Suite
The Deluxe Room and Family Suite are the premium options at Sri Janaki Mahal Trust. These rooms offer more floor area, better furnishings, and the same all-meals-included tariff structure. The Family Suite is designed for extended families or longer stays — it provides enough space so that guests do not feel confined even when spending multiple days inside the property during busy festival seasons like Navratri, Ram Navami, or Deepotsav when outdoor movement can be restricted by crowds.
Both the Deluxe and Suite are AC rooms. They are the right choice for pilgrims who prefer a more private and comfortable environment, or for families where seniors or young children need extra space and quiet.
The Property & Spiritual Environment
Sri Janaki Mahal Trust is located in Vasudev Gath, Karsewakpuram — one of the most spiritually significant localities in Ayodhya. The property sits within walking distance of Ram Mandir, Hanuman Garhi, Kanak Bhavan, and Saryu Ghat, making it an ideal base for devotees who want to visit multiple sites on foot without depending on autos or taxis for every trip.
The property has a calm, devotional ambience. Common areas are kept quiet and respectful. The surroundings in Karsewakpuram are less commercially busy than the main market lanes near Ram Mandir, which means guests can walk in a more peaceful environment when returning from evening aarti or morning darshan.
The courtyard and shared spaces are clean and well-maintained. Guests are asked to observe general standards of respect for a spiritual environment — no loud noise, no outside food in common areas, and dress modestly as appropriate for a dharmshala near a pilgrimage site.
The prayer and meditation corner on the premises offers a quiet space for guests who wish to sit for personal devotion outside of formal temple visits. Whether you need a few quiet minutes in the morning before heading to Ram Mandir for darshan, or a calm space to sit after the evening aarti at Saryu Ghat, the property's spiritual environment supports that intention.
The surrounding Ayodhya spiritual architecture is visible from various points of the property. Devotees who have stayed here often mention that being in Karsewakpuram — a locality associated with the Ram Mandir construction movement — adds a special depth to their Ayodhya pilgrimage.
