Room Types

Explore AC and Non‑AC rooms and suites near Ram Mandir. All room tariffs include meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

How to Choose the Right Room

The right room depends on three things: how many people are travelling with you, whether you prefer air-conditioning, and your budget. Sri Janaki Mahal Trust offers rooms from 2-bed to an 8-person family suite, all with the same all-meals-included tariff structure. Here is a quick guide:

  • Travelling as a couple or alone (2 guests): The 2-bed room (AC or non-AC) is the right fit. It is compact, clean, and gives you a private space without paying for extra beds.
  • Family of 3 or three friends: The 3-bed room covers everyone in one room. Prefer AC if you are visiting in summer (March–September); non-AC is comfortable for October–February.
  • Group of 4 / yatri party: The 4-bed room is the most cost-efficient option for a group of four. All meals are included for all four guests in a single tariff.
  • Family with children or elderly members needing more space: The Deluxe Room or Family Suite offers additional floor area and premium comfort. These are AC-only and suited for longer stays during festivals.
  • Large group or yatri mandal (10+ guests): Book multiple rooms. Call the official desk with your total headcount and dates — the team can block adjacent rooms together so your group is not spread across different floors.

If you are unsure, calling the desk directly is the fastest way to get a recommendation. The team will ask about your group size, season of travel, and budget, and suggest the best available option for your dates.

AC vs Non-AC — When Does It Matter?

For pilgrim stays in Ayodhya, the choice between AC and non-AC depends almost entirely on when you are visiting. Ayodhya in summer (April to June) can reach 42–45°C during the day — an AC room makes a significant difference to rest quality. The Monsoon season (July–September) is humid, and AC helps.

From October through February, Ayodhya has pleasant to cold weather. Non-AC rooms with good ventilation are perfectly comfortable during this period, and the tariff savings are meaningful especially for longer group stays. December through January brings foggy nights — having blankets (available at the property) is sufficient for most guests in this season.
